Hobie Cat sailing is definitely an exhilarating sailing experience.  Hobies are known for their acceleration and speed, for delivering serious thrills, getting up to speeds of 20+ knots in good wind! Hobie sailing just has to be tried to be believed – it should be on your “bucket list” !

 

Our Hobie Cat sailing lessons will teach you to sail these awesome vessels.  Hobie Cats provide a great platform for sailors to learn to sail fast and light-weight yachts that achieve speeds far greater than the more traditional mono hull sailboats.

 

Join our Hobie Cat sailing lessons and discover the rush of being suspended in a trapeze harness from a cable connected to the high point of the mast and bracing your body soles against the boat, parallel to the water to provide the counter balance to the wind in the sails.

 

Hobie sailing is usually a wet experience, unless the winds are very light.  Due to the speeds attained, there is plenty of spray off the bow of the boat.
